Here’s how we make it happen—seven simple steps from your first call to launch day.

Step 1: Call Us

Every Nor-Tech journey begins with a conversation. When you call South Florida Boat Center, you’ll speak directly with a knowledgeable specialist who understands both the Nor-Tech brand and your vision. We’ll talk through your needs, preferences, timeline, and expectations. This call sets the foundation for a relationship built on expertise and trust—two things we take pride in delivering every day.

Step 2: Place Your Deposit to Reserve Your Spot

Nor-Tech boats are custom-built and in high demand. A refundable deposit secures your place in line for production and confirms our commitment to building your boat. There’s no risk—just the peace of mind knowing that your build slot is protected as we move toward the next exciting step: design.

Step 3: Design Your Dream Boat (With a Full Factory Tour)

This is where the Nor-Tech experience really comes to life. You and your family will join us at the Nor-Tech factory for a full design session, typically lasting 4–5 hours. During this time, you’ll sit with one of Nor-Tech’s professional designers to create every detail of your custom boat—from layout and seating to powertrain, technology, lighting, and color.

You’ll also get a personal tour of the boatyard, where you can see builds in progress and gain firsthand insight into the quality and innovation behind every one of Nor-Tech boats. This is more than a consultation—it’s an immersive introduction to your future vessel.

Step 4: Approve the Design & Go Into the Mold

Once your final design is approved, we move into production. Your boat’s hull is built from the mold up, using Nor-Tech’s state-of-the-art composite construction methods. At this stage, we’ll collect the first third of your payment to initiate the custom build process.

Our role? We stay in close communication with you, offering progress updates and answering any questions while your boat takes shape.

Step 5: The Hull Emerges

Seeing your custom Nor-Tech boat come out of the mold is a special moment—it’s the first time your design becomes a tangible reality. You’ll start to see the size, shape, and style of your boat come to life, setting the stage for what comes next: outfitting and rigging.

Step 6: Rigging Begins

Now it’s time to install the power, systems, and features that make your boat uniquely yours. The Nor-Tech rigging team works meticulously to outfit your vessel with the engines, electronics, seating, lighting, and accessories chosen during the design phase.

At this point, we’ll request the second third of your payment. Throughout the rigging phase, we continue to provide status updates and quality checks, ensuring everything aligns with your expectations—and our high standards.

Step 7: Delivery Day

With rigging complete and finishing touches finalized, your boat is ready for delivery. We’ll coordinate every detail to ensure your experience is as seamless as the ride you’re about to enjoy. When you take delivery, we’ll walk you through all systems, provide support on operation, and answer any final questions.

The final balance is collected at delivery, and just like that—you’re the proud owner of a world-class Nor-Tech boat, designed around your lifestyle and performance goals.
